Abstract | 「はじめに」動物咬傷は通常の創傷とは異なり, 創感染の恐れがあるため二次治癒が基本とされる. しかし, 二次治癒では治癒に時間がかかることと, 整容面の障害を生じる可能性がある. 動物咬傷における初期治療では, 一次閉創・二次治癒の選択と抗生剤による感染予防が重要となる. 動物咬傷に対する初期治療と動物が原因になる感染症および抗生剤使用について述べる. 「I 統計」環境省の統計によると, わが国における2018年度のイヌ咬傷の報告件数は4,384件(うちヒト以外257件)で, 99%は飼い犬によるものであった. 報告されていないものもあり, 実際にはさらに多くのイヌ咬傷件数があることが想像される. ネコ咬傷は統計されていないため発生件数は不明だが, 北アメリカでは動物咬傷の90%がイヌ, 10%がネコと報告されている. |
