| Abstract | 「疾患概念・疫学」劇症型A群溶血性レンサ球菌感染症 (streptococcal toxic shock syndrome: STSS) は突発的に発症し, 急速に多臓器不全に進行するA群溶血性レンサ球菌 (Streptococcus pyogenes, Group A Streptococcus: GAS) による敗血症性ショック病態である. レンサ球菌はその血液寒天培地上の溶血パターンと, 細胞壁抗原の血清型で大別される. GASは溶血パターンが完全溶血 (β溶血) で血清型がLancefield分類Aである. STSSは1987年にConeらによって2例のブドウ球菌性トキシックショック症候群様の臨床経過を呈する重症のGAS感染症として報告された. その後, 全世界で同様の散発例の報告が相次いだ. |
