| Abstract | 「はじめに」Sagging Eye Syndromeという専門用語をはじめてみる読者もいると思う. この疾患概念は2013年にChaudhuriとDemerが報告したのが最初であり, わが国ではまだ浸透していない疾患であるが, 高齢者の複視の原因の一部はこのsagging eye syndromeであると考えられている. 北里大学病院での自験例では, 60歳以上の複視の原因の20%以上はsagging eye syndromeであった. 今まで, 開散不全や上斜筋麻痺と診断をされていた症例や確定診断がつかず原因不明とされていた疾患の中に, sagging eye syndromeが紛れていることがわってきた. さて "sagging" とはなんなのか? "sagging" とは重みで下がる, たわむ, たるむ, を意味する "sag" の現在分詞である. それではなにが "sag" するのだろうか? |
