Abstract | 「はじめに」根治的前立腺全摘除術は, 限局性前立腺癌に対する治療の1つとして重要な役割を担っている. 一方で, 術後の合併症の1つである尿失禁を含めた下部尿路症状 (lower urinary tract symptoms ; LUTS) は, ロボット支援手術により繊細な手術が可能になった現在においても, 解決しなければならない重要な課題である. 私たちはこれまで, ロボット支援前立腺全摘術 (robot-assisted radical prostatectomy ; RARP) 後の下部尿路機能障害発症メカニズムの解明と, その治療法に関する継続的な研究を行ってきた. 今回, それらのうちの重要なテーマをCutting Edgeとして概説する. |
