Abstract | 「Summary」・各種の認知症において多様な睡眠障害を呈することが知られているが, 特にアルツハイマー病 (AD) では比較的罹病初期から不眠を呈しやすいことが知られている. また, 近年重要視されているのは, 慢性的な不眠ないし睡眠遮断, 日中の眠気がADへの発展リスクを上昇させることであり, これにかかわる脳内機序も確認されつつある. ・ADでの不眠に対しては, 現時点では決定的な薬物療法は確立されておらず, 特にベンゾジアゼピン類・ベンゾジアゼピン受容体作動薬 (BZDs) はその使用により認知症リスクを上昇させるかどうかという議論もあるため, 光曝露量の調整を含めた睡眠衛生の強化の方がより重要視されている. |
