| Abstract | 「Abstract」口蓋扁桃摘出術は, 耳鼻咽喉科・頭頸部外科医として初めて執刀する手術の一つであり, 多くの患者に対して行われる一般的な手術である. 執刀医にとって術中・術後の副損傷, 合併症はさけては通れないものであり, 重篤な場合には生命にかかわることもある. そのため, 細心の注意を払って人為的な合併症を起こさないようにすることが肝要である. 人為的でない合併症は手術を行う限りその危険性を無にすることはできないが, 術前の十分な説明と同意, 合併症が起きた時の対策を立てておくことで, 患者の信頼と安全を確保することができる. 口蓋扁桃摘出術の術中, 術後に起こりやすい合併症について概説した. 事前に起こり得る合併症を予測し, その対策を立てることで合併症をできる限り少なくすることが重要である. |
