| Abstract | [Abstract] 腰部脊柱管狭窄症および変形性脊椎症に対する手術治療を受ける高齢者の周術期管理とリハビリテーションの実際および留意点について概説した. 腰部脊柱管狭窄症の治療は保存治療が原則であるが, 保存治療で十分な効果が得られない場合には手術治療が考慮される. 腰部脊柱管狭窄症の患者は, 何らかの併存症・合併症を有することが多いためリハビリテーションを行うにあたってはリスク評価が重要である. 手術直後からリハビリテーションを行い, 早期離床・早期歩行を目指す. 回復期リハビリテーションでは, 退院後の日常生活を想定したより実践的なリハビリテーションに移行していく. 社会の高齢化と医療技術の進歩により腰部脊柱管狭窄症の手術例は増加しており, 運動器診療に従事するすべての医療スタッフにとってその周術期管理およびリハビリテーションの正しい理解は不可欠である. |
