| Abstract | 「Abstract」変形性膝関節症(膝OA)は, 関節軟骨の変性や摩耗から始まり, 進行すると骨増殖性変化を生じ, 関節の変形に至る疾患である. しかし, 診断基準が明確でなく, 評価はX線が主体である. 近年では, 「早期OA」の概念が提唱され, 大規模コホート研究により, 膝OAのより詳細な病態と進行要因が, さらに明らかになってきた. 膝OAの保存治療は, エビデンスのない民間療法なども未だ広く行われている. 膝OAの知識をアップデートし, エビデンスに基づいて作成されたガイドラインを用いて保存治療を行うことで, 症状緩和や機能改善につながり, リハビリテーションが予防の可能性を含めた治療法として発展することに期待したい. 本稿では, 保存治療におけるリハビリテーションの現時点でのエビデンスと, 実際の手技について概説し, リハビリテーション治療の効果と課題を考察し, 外科治療の判断の一助となることにも期待する. |
