| Abstract | 「はじめに」新型コロナウイルス(SARS-CoV-2)感染症(COVID-19)の世界的な流行が進み, SARS-CoV-2の急性感染症から回復した患者の一部が, 長期にわたるさまざまな症状を経験していることがわかってきた. しかしながら, 現時点では感染者を対象とした横断研究が中心で, 非感染者を対象群とした疫学研究はいまだ不足している. 世界的なコンセンサスの得られている用語や定義もないが, 世界的には "long COVID", わが国では「後遺症」として論じられていることが多い. 本稿では, COVID-19感染患者の慢性期症状に関して, 国内・国外の疫学報告などをもとに概説する. 「I COVID-19の慢性期症状に関する用語・定義」遷延する慢性期症状とは, COVID-19罹患後に感染性は消失したにもかかわらず, ほかに明らかな原因がなく急性期から持続する症状や, あるいは経過途中から新たに, または再び生じて持続する症状全般をいう. |
