| Abstract | 「I 治療の概要」食道ステントはおもに進行食道癌による食道通過障害に対し, あるいは食道気管瘻に対して自己拡張型金属ステント(self-expandable metallic stent:SEMS)を用いて狭窄の緩和および瘻孔による症状を改善する姑息的治療である. 本邦では1995年に, 消化管のなかで最も早く金属ステントが使用可能となり, 現在では一般的に広く普及している. 食道は他臓器に比べ直線的な管腔臓器であるため, 手技自体は比較的簡便であるものの病変の存在部位によっては予期せぬ偶発症に遭遇するというリスクもある. 現在さまざまな食道ステントが開発され, その特性を周知したうえでステントを選択し使用する必要がある. |
