| Abstract | 「はじめに」 小児科領域における単純ヘルペスウイルス(herpes simplex virus : HSV)感染症は歯肉口内炎, 口唇ヘルペス, Kaposi水痘様発疹症, ひょう疽, 角結膜炎, 脳炎, 新生児ヘルペス, 性器ヘルペスがある. 本稿では新生児ヘルペスの管理について概説する. 「疫学と感染経路」 新生児ヘルペスの発生率は, 各国, 地域の性器ヘルペス罹患率や調査方法によってさまざまだが, 10万出生あたり3〜30人である. 2003年のわが国の調査では, 10万出生あたり2.6人であった. 新生児ヘルペスは全身型, 中枢神経型, 表在型に分類されるがこれらの比率は2:2:1であった. 欧米では性器ヘルペスと同様に新生児ヘルペスについてもHSV-2感染例が多いとされていたが, 現在は性器ヘルペスの50%はHSV-1に起因することが明らかとなり, 新生児ヘルペスもHSV-1感染による症例が増加している. |
