| Abstract | 「概念・定義」パレコウイルス(parechovirus: PeV)とエンテロウイルス(enterovirus: EV)はピコルナウイルス科の近隣のウイルスである. PeVの1部は, 以前はEVの中のエコーウイルスに分類されていた. この2つのウイルスはその型により多彩な臨床症状を呈するが, ほとんどの場合, 軽症で自然治癒する. しかしながら, PeVの中でも特に3型(parechovirus-A3: PeV-A3)は2004年に日本で初めて発見された新興感染症をきたすウイルスで, 新生児や早期乳児に敗血症, 髄膜脳炎などの重症感染症をきたす. また, EVの中でもいくつかの血清型は新生児に垂直感染をきたし重症化したり, PeV-A3同様, 敗血症, 髄膜脳炎などの重症感染症を同様の年齢層にきたすことがある. PeV, EVが新生児に感染すると, 発熱とそれに伴う経口摂取不良, 活気低下などを呈するが, その際, 細菌感染症との鑑別が重要となる. |
