| Abstract | 「はじめに」「血管腫」と呼ばれる疾患は多数あり, その分類は混沌とし, 有効な治療もなかったことから, 多くの小児科医は敬遠してきた. しかし, The International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies(ISSVA)による明確な分類と治療法の開発により, 小児科医・新生児科医が積極的に関わるべき薬物治療が可能な疾患となってきている. 本稿では, 従来いちご状血管腫と呼ばれてきた乳児血管腫について解説する. 「疾患概念」乳児血管腫を含め単純性血管腫, 海綿状血管腫など多数の疾患が「血管腫」と称されるが, その多くは脈管の構造または吻合異常, すなわち脈管奇形であり, 脈管内皮細胞の増殖を特徴とする脈管性腫瘍ではない. 幼少時にみられる脈管性腫瘍のなかで, もっとも多いのが乳児血管腫で, そのほかに先天性血管腫や房状血管腫, カポジ肉腫様血管内皮細胞腫がある. |
