| Abstract | 「要旨」小児の能力低下を指向した評価尺度として, Functional Independence Measure for Children(WeeFIM)やPediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory(PEDI)が国際的に汎用されている. WeeFIMは日常の活動における小児の自立度と介護度を測定し, 機能的パフォーマンスとその変化をとらえる日常生活活動(activities of daily living: ADL)の評価法である. 一方, PEDIは日常の機能的活動における小児の能力とパフォーマンスの両方を測定する. WeeFIMの各領域とPEDIの該当する下位領域には高い相関関係が認められており, 両者の信頼性や妥当性についても検討されている. WeeFIMやPEDIは脳性麻痺を含むさまざまな疾患の評価指標として利用されており, 他の評価法との関連についても報告されている. 本稿では, 小児のADL評価法としてWeeFIMとPEDIについて解説した. |
