Abstract 「要旨」運動耐容能は, 健常者および慢性疾患患者において有用な予後予測指標の1つである. 一般に, 運動耐容能の評価として心肺運動負荷試験(CPX)が広く用いられている. しかし, 高齢者の増加などによってCPXの実施が困難な場面が多いのも現状である. CPXから得られる最高酸素摂取量(peak VO2)は運動耐容能の客観的指標として知られているが, peak VO2と関連する身体機能指標は日常臨床で簡便に測定できる. 本稿では, リハビリテーション治療の評価や効果判定に役立ち, さらに運動耐容能のスクリーニングとして簡便に測定できる身体機能指標について, フィールドテストとサルコペニア評価を中心に解説する.
