Abstract 「要旨」 急性期病院での心臓リハビリテーション医療の変化を概説した. 近年, 各種ガイドラインでもICUでの急性心不全患者に対するリハビリテーション治療が明記され, 心不全治療と並行してリハビリテーション治療を進めることが定着した. それは地域医療構想, 早期離床リハビリテーション加算新設の観点から重要であり, 今後さらに一般化していくものと思われる. ICUにおけるリハビリテーション医療を考える場合, そのエビデンスはリハビリテーション治療中の有害事象や心事故にとどまらず, 退院後の心身機能や社会復帰など, リハビリテーション医療の本質を踏まえた包括的な評価に基づいて判断すべきである.
