| Abstract | 「要旨」:新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)の流行が続いている. 変異株の出現により, 小児への感染の拡大が懸念される状況にある. 成人のCOVID-19に対しては, さまざまな治療が試みられているが, 小児においては感染しても多くは無症状から軽症であるため, 特異的な治療を要することは少ない. しかしながら, どのような治療薬があり, どのような効果が認められるのかに関しては知っておく必要がある. COVID-19は, インフルエンザと異なり, 発症の直前, 直後で特にウイルス排出量が高くなること, 小児では便中にもウイルスが多く排出されることから飛沫感染予防策に加え, 接触感染予防策も必要なことなど, ウイルスの特徴を理解した上での感染予防策が必要となる. 日本小児呼吸器学会COVID-19対応ワーキンググループは, 「COVID-19流行下における小児の呼吸器疾患患者を診療する際の留意点」についてまとめ, 会員に公表している. 積極的な予防策としてのCOVID-19ワクチンは, 12歳以上の小児への接種が承認され積極的に実施されている. 本稿では, COVID-19の治療と予防対策に関して, 解説する. |
