Abstract	「抄録」 本研究の目的は, 日本人と結婚した外国人女性が日本で出産し子育てに馴染んでいく過程を明らかにすることである. 同意の得られた9名の参加者に半構造化面接による聞き取り調査を実施した. 分析は修正版グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチを用いて行った. 分析の結果5つのカテゴリーを抽出した. 外国人女性は, 《安全な出産・子育てができることを知る》ことで安心して《子どもを中心とした親役割を悟る》ようになる. その過程は流動的で, 《夫家族の子育て文化を覚える》一方で, 困難なことを予想した場合には《母国の子育て文化を貫く》手段をとり, 《日本で子育てをしていく心構えをする》ものであった. 日本人家族に寄り添い, 日本で出産し子育てに馴染んでいくには, 【異文化共生への道を探る】ことが核となっていた. 外国人女性を持つ家族における異文化共生への支援が示唆された.

Abstract	[Abstract] The objective of this study is to clarify the processes of giving birth and becoming accustomed to parenting in Japan among foreign women married to Japanese men. We conducted semi-structured interviews with nine participants who provided their consent. The results were analyzed using the modified grounded theory approach. The analysis extracted five categories. Foreign women become at ease when they "find that they can give birth and raise their children safely" and "realize the child-centered roles of parents." These are fluid processes. "They learn how to raise their children according to the culture of their husband's family." However, when they anticipate difficulties, their approach is to "stick to the parenting methods used in their own culture" and "prepare mentally for parenting in Japan." "Finding a path to the symbiosis of different cultures" is essential for them to establish good relationships with their Japanese family, give birth, and become accustomed to parenting in Japan. These findings suggest that support for symbiosis of different cultures in families with foreign women.
