| Abstract | 「はじめに」小児気管支喘息治療・管理ガイドライン (JPGL) 2020が, 発刊されて1年半以上経過した. 全体の改訂ポイントの概要は, すでに本誌にて解説されている. JPGL2020の発刊前から新型コロナウイルス感染症が流行し, その対策としてマスク着用, 手指消毒などの対策がとられると小児喘息患者の入院は激減した. しかしながら, このような急性増悪の減少は, 必ずしも症状コントロールの改善, ましてや小児喘息患者の減少を意味しているわけではない. 実際に, 入院は減少したものの, 治療が十分でなく喘息コントロールが不良のために, 日常生活で制限を受けている患児は散見される. 後述するように, JPGLは日常生活を健常児と同様に過ごせることを目標としており, その目標達成のためには, JPGLのさらなる普及, そしてその内容を反映させた治療の実践が必要である. |
