Title 新型コロナウイルス感染症 - 子どものCOVID-19 実態の理解と対応 -

Abstract 「I. はじめに」小児のコロナウイルス感染症2019(COVID-19)に関して報告された論文を, 日本小児科学会予防接種・感染症対策委員会では, 定期的にまとめて公開している. 本稿では, この中から, 小児保健の観点から抜粋し, 関連する報告も加えてまとめた. 「II. 疫学」「1. 小児の占める割合は少ないが, 最近は増加傾向にある」2019年末, 中国から本感染症が報告され, 世界中に感染者が拡大した. 4〜5月の最初の波から, 小児の感染者数は, 成人と比較して少なかった. 中国では19歳未満の患者は全体の2.4%, 米国では18歳未満の患者は全体の1.7%, 国内では5月3日時点で10歳未満が1.6%, 10〜19歳が2.3%であった. 次第に小児の割合が増加してきた. 米国では11月22日時点で18歳未満は全体の9.6%, 日本国内でも12月2日時点で10歳未満は2.2%, 10〜19歳は5.4%と, 小児の患者割合は日米で最近増加している.
