Abstract	「要旨」本研究は, 初めて子どもを育てる父親のパタニティブルー (PB) に影響を与える要因を検討した. 生後4か月〜8か月の子どもを初めてもつ父親154名に, 2020年3月インターネット調査でデータ収集を行った. 調査内容は, 属性, PB二項目質問法, PBに関連する9項目, 夫婦関係調整テストである. 二項目質問法で陰性を「PBなし」陽性を「PBあり」としロジスティック解析を行い, オッズ比を算出した. 結果, PBなしが59.7%, PBありが40.3%となり, PBの要因は, うつの既往 (オッズ比5.65 (95%CI1.63-19.53)), 夫婦関係調整 (オッズ比0.97 (95%CI0.96-0.99)), 平日の育児時間 (オッズ比0.69 (95%CI0.49-0.96)), 体調 (オッズ比3.60 (95%CI2.04-6.35)) であった. 父親の心身の評価に加え, 夫婦関係に視点をあてた予防策の検討が必要と考える.

Title	Factors Affecting the Paternity Blues of First-time Fathers with Children Four to Eight Months Old

Abstract	[ABSTRACT] [Objective] : The study aims to examine the factors that influence the Paternity Blues of fathers raising children for the first time. [Methods] : A total of 154 fathers with children four to eight months old participated in our internet survey done last March 2020. The survey consisted of two questions for screening depressive attributes and tendencies, nine questions on depressive tendencies, and a marital adjustment test. A negative result was defined as having "no Paternity Blues," and a positive result was defined as having a "Paternity Blues." Logistic regression analysis was performed to determine the factors associated with the fathers' Paternity Blues. [Result] : Among the 154 surveyed fathers, 59.7% had no Paternity Blues, while 40.3% had Paternity Blues. According to the logistic regression analysis, factors that induce fathers' Paternity Blues were a history of depression (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] 5.65, 95 % confidence interval [CI] 1.63-19.53), marital adjustments (AOR0.97, 95%CI 0.96-0.99), weekday childcare time (AOR0.69, 95%CI0.49-0.96), and physical health conditions (AOR3.60, 95%CI2.04-6.35). [Conclusion] : Our study suggested that medical professionals also need to assess first-time fathers' psychological and physical conditions and consider preventative measures that focus on marital adjustments.
