Abstract	「要旨」「目的」 : 手術を受けた乳がん患者の退院支援内容に関する知識, 病棟看護師から受けた退院支援内容・方法・満足度について明らかにする. 「方法」 : 乳がん患者を対象に自記式質問紙を用いた郵送調査を実施した. 「結果」 : 乳がん患者93名の内, 退院支援で多く説明された項目は, 「手術をした側の運動方法」64名 (68.8%) , 退院支援内容で「よく知っている」「知っている」と多く回答した項目は, 「外来通院の必要性」73名 (78.5%) であった. 退院支援に対して37名 (39.8%) が満足しており, 65歳未満・以上の年齢において満足度の有意差は認められなかった. リンパ浮腫に関連した「重い荷物を持たない理由と方法」, 「入浴方法」は, 説明を聞いた人が聞かなかった人より有意に満足度が高かった. 「結論」 : 患者のニーズに応じた退院支援内容, 特にリンパ浮腫関連の工夫・精選の必要性が示唆された.

Abstract	[ABSTRACT] [Aim :] This study investigated effective ways of discharge support for breast cancer patients who had undergone surgery by clarifying their knowledge of discharge support, the content and methods of the discharge support provided by ward nurses, and the patient level of satisfaction with the support. [Methods :] A postal survey was conducted with breast cancer patients using a self-administered questionnaire. [Results :] Among the 93 breast cancer patients, the most frequently explained item in the discharge support was "exercise methods for the side of body where the surgery had been conducted" by 64 (68.8%) respondents, and the most frequently answered item in the discharge support content as "well informed" or "informed" was "need for outpatient visits" by 73 (78.5%). Thirty-seven respondents (39.8%) were satisfied with the discharge support, and although there were no significant differences by age (under 65 and over), those who heard explanations about 'why and how not to carry heavy loads' and 'bathing methods' related to lymphoedema were highly satisfied. [Conclusions :] The study suggested the need to revise and refine the content of the discharge support according to patient needs, especially related to lymphoedema.
