| Abstract | 「はじめに」敗血症は, 感染症により臓器障害が進行する病態である. 感染症の制御ができずに重症化する場合に加えて, 様々な基礎疾患に感染症が訪れると感染症は2次性侵害刺激として臓器障害を進展させ, 敗血症として死亡率を高める. 2010年にニューヨークで開催されたMerinoff Symposiumでは, 2002年欧州集中治療医学会 (バルセロナ開催) における敗血症診療に対する「バルセロナ宣言」を継続するものとしてGlobal Sepsis Alliance (以下, GSA) の結成が提案された. World Federation of Intensive and Critical Careなどが設立母体となり, GSAの活動が2011年より開始された. 2012年にはGSAは, 9月13日をWorld Sepsis Day (世界敗血症デー) と設定し, 毎年この日には日本を含めて世界中で敗血症に関する啓発事業が展開されている. |
