Abstract 要旨: 超高齢社会を迎え, 認知症と加齢性難聴の増加が社会問題となっている. 本稿では認知症予防に対する現状での政策について概説し, さらに認知症と加齢性難聴との関係, 認知症予防対策としての補聴器の効果について文献的に考察した.

Abstract The marked increase in the number of persons with dementia and hearing impairment in the era of the super-aged society in Japan is an urgent social problem. In this review, the government policies for the prevention of dementia are outlined, and the relationship between dementia and age-related hearing loss, and the role of hearing aid use in the prevention of dementia are discussed with a review of the related literature.
