Abstract	「抄録」目的: 本研究の目的は認知症看護認定看護師にインタビュー調査を行い, COVID-19流行下における急性期病院に入院する認知症高齢者に及ぼす影響と看護実践を明らかにすることである. 対象と方法: 認知症看護認定看護師を対象にZOOMを用いたインタビュー調査を行った. 結果: 認知症高齢者の状況では『面会制限から生じる家族や周囲からの孤立感覚』『家族とつながる難しさ』『廃用症候群の出現と症状の悪化』『感染防具を装着した看護師とコミュニケーションの困難さ』『不自由な感染症対策を強いられる』『自分らしく過ごす』, 認知症看護の実践では『感染症予防の徹底した強化』『看護師の困難感』『従来の看護が実践できないジレンマ』『感染症に対するストレス・不安』『可能な範囲での最大限の看護実践の継続と工夫』などとそれぞれ6つのカテゴリーが抽出された. 結論: 感染予防対策下において, 可能な範囲で最大限の看護実践の継続と工夫をしていた.

Abstract	[Abstract] Objective: This study aimed to elucidate the experiences of older adult patients with dementia and certified dementia nurses in acute hospitals during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: Interviews were conducted with certified nurses in dementia nursing in acute hospitals from October to December 2020 using Zoom. Results: Six themes emerged in the analysis of the situation of older adult patients with dementia during the pandemic, including "isolation from family and neighbors owing to restrictions on visits," "difficulty connecting with far-away family," "onset of disuse syndrome and worsening symptoms," "difficulty communicating with nurses wearing personal protective equipment," and "limiting and inconvenient practices owing to infection prevention measures." Further, six themes emerged in the analysis of the practices of certified dementia nurses during the pandemic, including "reinforcement of infection prevention measures," "difficulty carrying out nursing interventions," "experiencing dilemma and feelings of ineffectualness over not being able to provide conventional dementia care," and "maximizing continuation and invention of new methods of nursing care in limiting situations." Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that the certified nurses in dementia nursing practice to maximize continuation and invention of new methods of nursing care in limiting situations.
