Abstract | 「はじめに」Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)は, 肺を主体とするウイルス感染症である. 肺炎を生じ重症化すれば人工呼吸器などを要する状態に至る. 一方, 味覚障害・嗅覚障害, 若年者での脳梗塞発症の報告などがあり, 神経症状が合併することが当初から知られている. 初期の中国のCOVID-19入院214例の検討では, めまい, 頭痛, 脳血管障害, 意識障害, けいれんなどの中枢神経症状は24.8%, 味覚障害, 嗅覚障害などを含む末梢神経障害は8.9%に認められており, 決して頻度が低い症状ではなく, 症状出現は重症者で増加することが報告されている. 急性期の中枢神経疾患としては, 脳血管障害, 髄膜脳炎, その他の脳症・脳炎として急性散在性脳脊髄炎, 急性出血性壊死性脳症などの報告がある. きわめてまれであるが, ミオクローヌスやパーキンソン症状の出現の報告もある. |
